Dear Dyer,
The Church House, Great Smith Street, S.W.1.
April,1948.

Would you please refer to the correspondence ending with my letter to you of 28th February about the claims of the Chinese Ministry of Communications in respect of railway material requisitioned in Hong Kong in 1941 on behalf of the War office.
My Secretary of State has now received a letter (of which I enclose a copy) from Mr. Keswick, of Matheson & Co, enquiring as to the present positioną of these claims and I should be grateful if you could let me know how matters stand at the moment in order that a full reply may be returned to Mr. Keswick's letter.
Yours sincerely,
T.W. DYER, ESQ.
